Pete was our neighbour for 40years. Very soon he turned into a good friend as did Margaret. We shared many timers talking and laughing over the garden fence. Eddie and Pete would partake of a pint on Friday night in the Railway Club and wobble home together chatting. We shared many things, Pete was a keen gardener and he kept his own and ours looking lovely. Pete loved a Bury black pudding and we always brought him one whenever we went there, he said they were the best! Well Pete I’ll just say night night sleep tight in Margaret’s arms. Xx
